Obituary

John Clyatt "Johnny" Lovein, 64, of Nashville, died Friday July 25, 2014 at his residence.

He was born July 22, 1950 in Tift County to the late Norman Monroe Lovein, Jr. and the late Alcyone Short. He was associated with Southern Traditions Realty as a sales representative and certified appraiser. He was a member of the Nashville United Methodist Church and a graduate of VSU.

He is survived by his wife: Melissa Carol Lindsey Lovein of Nashville; daughter: Tess Disney of Valdosta; son: John (Diana) Lovein of Valdosta; step daughter: Haley Barnhardt of Valdosta; sister: Diane Williams of Denver, Co; 2 brothers: Norman M. "Bo" (Carol) Lovein, III of Nashville and Robert S. "Bob" (Jo) Lovein of Nashville; 4 grandchildren.

The family will honor his request for cremation. A memorial service will be held Monday July 28, 2014 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Finn and Rev. Jimmy Parker officiating. Visitation is Monday one hour prior to the service. Memorials are requested to the Nashville United Methodist Church: 304 S.
