John Albert "Johnny" Taylor, Jr, 55, of Nashville died Wednesday March 16, 2011 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.
He was born October 11, 1955 in Pensacola, Fl to John Albert Taylor and Mary Ann Gordon. He was employed with the JH Harvey Co as a merchandiser. He was also a member of the Nashville United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Kathy Edore Taylor of Nashville; daughter: Christy (Brett) McMillan of West Berrien; 2 sons: Tommy Taylor of Covington and Jason Stripling of Rome; granddaughter: Riley McMillan; father and mother: John Albert and Mary Ann Taylor of Leesburg; 4 brothers: Billy Taylor of Albany, Brian Taylor of Albany, Mike Taylor of Tampa, Fl, and Paul Taylor of Durham, NC; sister: Pat Taylor of Alaska.
Funeral services will be held Friday March 18, 2011 at 4 PM in the Nashville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Russ Elkins and the Rev. Danny Ray officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Thursday from 6 to 8 PM. Flowers will be accepted or make memorial contributions to the Nashville United Methodist Church Jam Ministry.
