John David “Doodle” Taylor, Jr., 44, of Nashville died Sunday, September 20, 2026, at his residence.

He was born December 29, 1981, in Tifton to John David Taylor and Donna Marlene Conger Taylor. He was formerly employed with the City of Nashville gas department. He enjoyed fishing, riding four wheelers, loved to pick on everyone and attended Abundant Life Chapel.

He is survived by his daughter Mallory (Johnathan) Hemminger of Hawkinsville; son: John David Taylor of Adel; father and mother: David & Donna (Betty) Taylor of Nashville; 3 sisters: Kim (Scott) Adams of Nashville, Tina (Tommy) Miller of Houston, TX and Shaye (Ernesto) Cintado of Houston, TX; 2 brothers: Steve (Wendy) Roberts of Ray City and Tommy (Holly) Whitley of Alapaha; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral service will be held Friday, September 25, 2026, at 11 AM in Nashville Memorial Gardens with Rev. Robby Rowe officiating. Visitation will be held in the cemetery 30 minutes prior to the service.
