John Walter "Walt" Bristol, 57, of Nashville died Tuesday September 18, 2012 at his residence.
He was born December 18, 1954 in Berrien County to A.J. Bristol and the late Ora Mae Bryan. He was employed with Southern States Ag Services and was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Tina Parker Bristol of Nashville; father: A.J. Bristol of Nashville; 4 sisters: Barbara (Gene) Williams of Adel, Betty (Donald) Royals of Nashville, Ree (Kim) Miller of Nashville, and Nell (Danny) Guess of Gainesville; 3 brothers: Jeff Bristol of Nashville, Billy (Debbie) Bristol of Nashville, and Donald (Shirley) Bristol of Ocilla; sister-in-law: Tonya Parker of Adel; brother-in-law: Jeff (Patricia) Parker of Adel; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday September 20, 2012 at 2 PM in the Flat Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey and Mr. Franklin Luke officiating. Interment will follow in the Flat Creek Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM.
