John David Wilson, 70, of Nashville, died Sunday December 22, 2024, in an automobile accident at a historically dangerous, accident-prone, intersection that has claimed many other victims in the recent past. He and close friend Tony Lindsey, were returning from church services.

He was born February 27, 1954, in Bartow Florida to the late Wanda Lafa Calhoun-Wilson and James Edward Wilson SR. He was a Veteran and retired Truck driver with JB Hunt and other transporters until he became disabled with serious medical problems. He liked operating and working on anything with an internal combustion engine, hunting, fishing, and boating but most of all loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his brother James Edward Wilson JR and family, of Fredericksburg, VA and his nephew James Shannon Wilson of McDonough, GA and family. He will be missed and never forgotten.

His family will honor request for cremation and a graveside service will be held Thursday March 6, 2025, at 4 PM in Westview cemetery.
