Johnnie Rowe Spurlock Touchton Garner, 92, of Ray City died Sunday August 1, 2010 in the South Ga Medical Center.
She is survived by her daughter: Mary Louise Nash of Ray City; 2 step daughters: Elizabeth Garner of Ray City and Hazel Forte of Barney; 3 step sons: Jimmy Carroll Garner of Ray City, Elliot Garner of Ray City, and Wendell Garner of Orlando, Fl; 2 brothers: Leonard (Velma) Matthews of Tifton and J.B. (Margaret) Rowe of Barney; her grandchildren: Johnny (Brenda) Nash, Wayne (Tammy) Nash, Randy Nash, Jimmy (Dora) Nash, Travis (Jeri) Nash; great grandchildren: Jason, Tara, Bill, Dorothy Jo, Austin, Britney, Kayla, Dillon, Haley, Jackson, Kevin, Jason, and Kyle. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers: Dempsey Rowe, Irvin Rowe, and Waldo Rowe.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 4, 2010 at 9 AM in the Ray City First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Evans Patten and the Rev. Lee Graham officiating. Interment will follow in the Willacoochee City Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM.
