Johnny Eston Dennis' Obituary
Johnny Eston Dennis, 86, of Nashville, died Saturday April 27, 2013 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman.
He was born September 7, 1926 in Brooks County to the late Rowe Dennis and the late Bessie Guthrie. He was a retired cabinet maker with Nashville Variety Works and operated the Nashville Radio Shack. He was a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Burnell Ray Dennis, their son, Mike Dennis, 3 brothers, 3 half brothers and a half sister.
He is survived by a sister: Doris Lewis of Valdosta; 5 half sisters: Roberta Saunders of Lake Park, Mildred Maxwell of Jacksonville, FL, Dorothy Rogers of Lake Park, Mollie Sauls of Valdosta, and Kathy Booth of Lake Park; 2 sisters-in-law: Emajean (Jackson) Moore of Nashville and Christine Boyett of Nashville.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 30, 2013 at 4:30 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley Luke and Mr. Jackson Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is Tuesday from 3 PM until the hour prior of services.
