Obituary

Johnny Talmadge Harpe, 72, of Nashville, died Friday July 16, 2021 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 25, 1948 in Hahira, GA to the late Marion Braxton Harpe and the late Aline Fender Harpe. He was the former owner of Ray City Fast Stop. He was preceded in death by a brother: Howell Harpe.

He is survived by his son: Johnny Talmadge (Kassy Ann) Harpe, II of Pearson; brother: Marion B. (Boy) Harpe, Jr of Ray City; 3 sisters: Joyce Harpe (Richard) Burton of Calabasas, CA, Linda Harpe Browning of Ray City and Marjorie Harpe (David) Cooper of Winifrede, WVA; 3 grandchildren: Porshia Alexis (Chris) Stone, Johnny Talmadge Harpe III and Jayden Marie Harpe; 3 great grandchildren: Maysen James Greene, Sawyer Blakely Stone, Maddox Gray Stone.

Funeral services will be held Friday July 23, 2021 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Swain officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Friday one hour prior to the service.
