On July 6, 2024, Johnny Wayne Tucker, passed away peacefully at the age of 85 in Titusville, FL. He and his wife, Carolyn, had recently relocated to the Titusville area from their long-time homes in Nashville, GA.

Johnny was born in Sparks, GA, and was one of ten children to Ben J. and Grace Tucker. Johnny grew up in South Georgia and entered the Army upon graduating high school. After serving two years in the Army, he joined the US Air Force and remained twenty-one years, until he retired. He served in numerous duty stations, receiving many exemplary awards in his career.

He and his first wife, Dale McLendon Tucker, had three boys. His military service took him and his family to live in many places, including tours in Italy and Hawaii. After retirement, he also worked for many years as a disaster claims adjuster, taking him to many places throughout the United States.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents; Ben J. and Grace, his first wife and mother of his children; Dale Tucker, his eldest son; Terry Tucker (Cindy), his four brothers; Jimmy (Grace), Jackie, Ben (Cathy), and Danny (Jo), his three sisters; Maryanne, Kathy, and Frances (James).

He is survived by his wife; Carolyn Chambers Tucker, his two sons; Johnny Jr., and Gregory, three grandchildren; Jennifer, Brian, and Shaun, two great grandchildren; Aliyah and Victoria, his sister; Dorothy (Hilton), brother; Billy (Creesy), and many nieces and nephews.

Johnny's good heart and kind spirit will be missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM, on July 13, 2024, at Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville, GA. with visitation starting at 5:00 PM.
