Joseph David "J.D." Taylor's Obituary
Mr. Joseph David "J.D." Taylor, 91, of Nashville died Sunday July 13, 2014 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
He was born September 14, 1922 in Alapaha to the late Joe Crawford Taylor and the late Texas Rowan. He retired as owner of Nashville Bag Company and was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Sandra Lee Kent and Daphne Walker ; a granddaughter: Beth Lynn Taylor; a sister: Jeanette Taylor Stallings; and a brother: Clarence Emory Taylor.
He is survived by his wife: Sara Reabeth Harper Taylor of Nashville; 3 sons: David (Terry) Taylor, Wendell (Evelyn) Taylor and Joey Taylor all of Nashville; 9 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a brother: Herbert Taylor of Lake Placid, FL
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel with the Rev. Willie Heath and Rev. Johnny Smith officiating. Interment will be in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 6-8 PM.
