Joseph Thomas "Joey" Moore, 56, of Enigma, died Sunday April 28, 2013 at his residence.
He was born August 16, 1956 in Berrien County to the late Gerald Moore and Nancy Morris. He was the managing partner for Long Bridge Peanut Co and a member of the
Enigma Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Becky Akins Moore of Enigma; 2 sons: Josh (Amanda) Moore of Alapaha and Zach Moore of Enigma; mother: Nancy Moore of Nashville; 2 sisters: Ann (Jeff) Jones of Taylorsville and Karen Shellhouse of Phenix City, AL; father and mother-in-law: Jimmy and Carolyn Akins of Enigma; brother-in-law: James Akins of Enigma; sister-in-law: Lucy ( Rev. Steve) Hand of Ocilla.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 1, 2013 at 11 AM in the Enigma Baptist Church with the Rev. Pete Jones and the Rev. Steve Hand officiating. Interment will follow in the Turner Church Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM. Flowers will be accepted or make memorial contributions to the church or charity of choice.
