Joseph Donald “Don” Stone, 85, of Nashville died Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at SGMC Valdosta.

He was born August 6, 1940, in Berrien County to the late Leonard Clayton Stone and the late Ola Luke Stone. He owned and operated Don’s Discount Tires, worked for Palmer Tire and was a member of Adel Church of God. He loved his family and enjoyed gardening and plants. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Raymond Stone and Rev. L.C. Stone, Jr.

He is survived by daughter: Donna (David) Davis of Enigma; 2 granddaughters: Kimberly (Donald) Lamb of Ray City and Kaci (Devin) Parrish of Valdosta; 2 great-grandchildren: Kaylee and Adalynn; brother: Bill Stone of Adel.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, July 3, 2026, at 10 AM in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will take place in the cemetery 30 minutes prior to the service.
