Joy Camilleri, 67, of Nashville, died Sunday July 28, 2024 at SGMC in Valdosta.

She was born August 13, 1956 in Savannah, GA to the late Elton Jones and the late Nona Belle McCollough Jones. She was a homemaker, worked as a CNA with Berrien Nursing Center and loved arts & crafts. She was preceded in death by a sister: Cathy Jones; 2 brothers: Earl Jones and Ricky Jones; step-father: Ira Collins.

She is survived by her husband: Michael Camilleri of Nashville; 2 daughters: Jessica (Chris) Walker of Valdosta and Angela (Tommy) Camilleri of Nashville; son: Jason (Darla) Pasadas of Cobbtown; sister: Nancy (Earl) Duckworth of Aline; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her family will honor request for cremation. A visitation to share memories will be held Friday August 2, 2024 from 4 to 5 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home.
