Joy Roberts, 70, of Nashville, died Wednesday September 8, 2021, at SGMC Berrien Campus.

She was born July 25, 1951 in Cook County to the late James Arthur McGee and the late Coma Taylor McGee. She owned and operated Joy's Family Hair Care. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Melba Roland and Mary Stephens; 2 brothers: James McGee and Owen McGee.

She is survived by her husband: Wendell Roberts of Nashville; 2 daughters: Angie Price of Nashville and Shea Boyer of Adel; son: Matt Price of Nashville; 2 step sons: Danny (April) Roberts of Nashville and Jason Roberts of Montezuma; brother: Bobby (Patsy) McGee of Valdosta; 6 grandchildren: Shayla (James) Guffey, Taylor (Wright) Jared, Austin (Courtney) Roberts, Justin Roberts and Allison Roberts; 4 great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday September 10, 2021 at 11 AM in the Nashville Memorial Gardens with Mr. Wayne Cook officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
