Joyce Marie Windom, 75, of Nashville, died Thursday, October 29, 2026 at her residence.

She was born May 5, 1951 in Berrien County to the late John Robert Hughes and the late Kathleen Gaskins Hughes. She was a homemaker and formerly associated with the Farmers and Merchants Bank and was the retired office manager for the Farmers Gin and Peanut Co. She was preceded in death by her son: Kerry Mathis and a member of A’NewWay Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband: Bob Windom of Nashville; son: Kevin (Marla) Mathis of Nashville; sister: Evonne (Dewayne) Sellers of Nashville; 2 brothers: Rev. Vernon (Mary Nell) Hughes and Rev. Jerry (Carol) Hughes all of Nashville; 2 grandchildren: Marlie Ann and Kaden; numerous nieces and nephews who she dearly loved.

Funeral services will be held Monday November 2, 2026 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Bennett and Rev. Vernon Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Sunday November 1, 2026 from 6-8 Pm in the funeral home.
