Obituary

Juan Bargus, 81, of Nashville died Monday July 28, 2014 at SGMC, Berrien Campus.

He was born April 19, 1933 in Elmo, Kansas to the late Jessie Bargus and the late Marie Ortiz. He was a retired Tech Sgt from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. He was a member of Nashville Post of the VFW, Adel Post of D.A.V, served in Vietnam and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and 2 grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife: Natalie Guthrie Bargus of Nashville; 3 daughters: Angie Watson of Nashville, Lynn Bargus of Nashville and Juanalie Bargus of Nashville; 4 sons: Johnny Arms of Warner Robins, Jerome Kilpatrick, Darrel (Paula) Kilpatrick of Nashville and James (Sheila) Kilpatrick of Enigma; 3 sisters: Josephine Bargus of Salina, KS, Connie Mascarino of Herington, KS and Dorothy (Gene) Hudson of Saline, KS; 2 brothers: Lupe (Barbara) Bargus of Herington, KS and Frank (Jean) Bargus of Wichita, KS; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Luke and the Rev. James Guthrie officiating. Entombment will be in Guthrie Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
