Juanelle Wilson's Obituary
Juanelle Wilson, 89, of Ray City, died Tuesday May 22, 2012 in the South Georgia Medical Center.
She was born February 17, 1923 in Berrien County to the late Vernie Starling and the late Allie Purvis. She was a former Mayor of Ray City having served two terms, served as City Clerk of Ray City for 17 years, and was a former secretary for Del-Cook Lumber Co. She was a member of the Ray City United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Donald Wilson.
She is survived by her daughter: Barbara Joyce Garrison of Ray City; son: Dale Allen Wilson of San Diego, CA; brother: Hubert Starling of Largo, FL; 3 grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday May 25, 2012 at 11 AM in the Old City Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Mitchell officiating. Visitation will be from 9 AM until the hour of services.
