Juanita Boyd, 85, of Ray City died Friday August 31, 2018 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

She was born December 30, 1932 in Berrien County to the late John Thomas Roland and the late Eliza Winifred Easters Roland.  She was a homemaker, a nurses aide with Berrien County Hospital and a member of Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church.  She was the widow of Carson Boyd and was also preceded in death by a son: Henry Boyd; 2 sisters: Pauline Hayes and Ella Hancock; 5 brothers: J.W., Albert, Arnold, Perry Lee and Walton Roland.

She is survived by her daughter: Elaine (Mark) Schmitt of Lakeland, FL; 2 sons: Hershell (Marie) Boyd of Ray City and Daniel (Angie) Williams of Ray City; 10 grandchildren: Mandy, Rebecca, Justin, Travis, Emily, Kailey, Hailey, Dylan, Bailey and Kaelan; 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday September 3, 2018 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. J. W. Dukes, III officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Monday one hour prior to the service.
