Julia Virginia Keeffe's Obituary
Julia Virginia Keeffe, 81, of Nashville died Thursday April 28, 2011 in the South Georgia Medical Center.
She was born February 1, 1930 in Mitchell County to the late Wiley O. Burnum and the late Ruby Bostick. She was a retired school teacher with the Berrien County Board of Education. She was a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church and the Berrien Retired Teachers. She was the widow of Elmer Keeffe who died in 2009.
She is survived a niece: Rhonda (Billy) Pate of Albany; 2 great nieces: Stephanie Pate of Milledgeville and Julie Pate of Savannah; 2 cousins: Kay (Frederick) Warnell of Richmond Hill and Reggie (Jenny) Bostick of Camilla; sister: Emogene Kirkland of Abbeville, Al.
Funeral services will be held Sunday May 1, 2011 at 5 PM in the Nashville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Luke officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 6 to 8 PM.
