Karleen Vickers, 80, of Hahira died Saturday February 18, 2017 in SGMC.
She was born May 10, 1936 in Atkinson County to the late Joe Guthrie and the late Maggie Taft. She was a homemaker and a dental assistant with Dr. Fred Smotherman. She was a member of Pineview Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband: Raymond Vickers of Hahira; 2 sons: Rick (Beth) Vickers of Dixie and Michael (Rebecca) Vickers of Branson, MO; 3 grandchildren: Christina Vickers of Tallahassee, FL, Jarred (Bethany) Vickers of Branson, MO, and Tyler Vickers of Branson, MO; 3 sisters: Nadine Roberts of Lakeland, Dot Fender of Lakeland and Jeanie Outlaw of Nashville; step sister: Patsy Hurst of Broxton; 2 step brothers: Jim Mancil of Broxton and Tommy Mancil of Nichols; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 21, 2017 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. John Akers officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery (East Berrien - Nashville). Visitation is Monday 6-8 PM.
