Sara Kathryn "Kathy" Connell, 76, of West Berrien died Wednesday November 4, 2020 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.

She was born December 9, 1943 in Berrien County to the late Louis Everette Carter and the late Gladys Browning Carter.  She was a homemaker, retired IRS Agent after 20 years, member of Nashville First Baptist Church and a graduate of the University of North Florida.  She was the widow of Roger Edgar Connell who died December 8, 2019.

She is survived by a daughter: Kathryn Yvonne (Myron) Thomas of Callahan, FL; two sons: Roger Dane Connell and Robert (Christy)  Connell both of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren: Kenton, Konnor, Cassidy, Carsen, Hannah and Carter; four great grandchildren: Kade, Karver, Bly and Ace; two sisters: Clarice Roberts of Alapaha and Janice Roquemore of Lakeland; brother: Randall Carter of West Berrien; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday November 9, 2020 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Stewart officiating.  Interment will follow in Vickers Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday 6 to 8 PM.
