Kay Parrish Devane, 85, of Nashville died Tuesday November 3, 2009 at his residence. He was retired agent with the Georgia Dept. of Revenue and a farmer. He was a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church and the Men's Bible Class. Kay and Betty were married for 65 years.

He is survived by his wife: Betty Rowan Devane of Nashville; 2 daughters: Vanne (Leon) Tucker of Nashville and Mary Kay (Chris) Welsh of Dothan, Al; sister: Betty Hancock of Nashville; brother: Toby Devane of Moultrie; 4 grandchildren: John and Kathryn Tucker, James and Margaret Welsh.

Funeral services will be held Saturday November 7, 2009 at 11 AM in the Nashville First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 7 to 9 PM.
