Kenneth Thomas Fender, 66, of Lakeland died Monday June 25, 2018 at SGMC.

He was born January 22, 1952 in Atkinson county to the late Laster Fender and the late Illa Marie Gurganious Fender. He was a planer mill operator with the former Hubert Moore Lumber Co. and attended Knight's Memorial Missionary Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Maynard Fender who died in 2001.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday June 30, 2018 at 11 am in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Spikes and the Rev. Simm Youngblood officiating. Interment will follow in Fender Cemetery.   Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
