Kenton Winston "Kent" Carter, 61 of West Berrien died Monday March 4, 2013 at his residence.
He was born in Hillsborough County FL to the late Leroy R. Carter and the late May Eighth McClellan. He was a retired sales manager with Master Craft Tifton Plant and member of the Brookfield Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kendra Marlene Carter who died in 1981.
He is survived by: his wife, Mavis Marlene Ellis Carter of West Berrien; daughter, Karla (Daniel) Mallard of West Berrien; son, Kenyon (Christine) Carter of Atlanta; two grandchildren: Gabrielle and Kason.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday March 8, 2013 in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Cadwell officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday March 7, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM.
