Lajuana Michelle Hart, 66, of Nashville, died Thursday July 17, 2025, at her residence.
She was born August 2, 1958, in Macon, GA to the late Cecil Howard Powers and the late Melanie Dianne Faulk Powers. She was a registered nurse with Tift Regional Medical Center, the former Adel Convalescent Center and worked for Care One Home Health. She loved her family, spending time with her grandchildren and was a true caregiver to so many. She was a member of the Nashville Ward Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints and was preceded in death by sister: Cassie Lindsey; brother: Chris Powers.
She is survived by her husband: Paul Hart of Nashville; daughter: Kimberly (Chad) Woody of Nashville; son: Ricky (Meachell) Trimm of Nashville; grandchildren: Camden (Georgia Weldy) Woody, Hayden (Madison Luke) Woody, Landen (Maggie) Woody, Chelsey (Josh) Weeks, Rachel Kent, Alexandria (Shane) McGill, Rebecca Trimm, Aubrey Trimm and Terrace Adams; 15 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Katrina Giddens of Nahunta and Sonya Taylor of Adel; 6 brothers: Michael Spivey of Jacksonville, FL, Scott Powers of Moultrie, Donnie Spriggs of Griffin, Randy Spriggs of Russellville, AL, Michael Spriggs of TyTy and John Eric Powers of Moultrie; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Monday July 21, 2025, at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Mr. S.G Solomon, Jr. and Mr. Tommy Spikes officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Monday in the funeral home one hour prior to services.
