Larry Mitchell Harrod, 64, of Ray City died Sunday May 21, 2017 in Cook Medical Center.
He was born August 17, 1952 in Hahira to the late D. C. Harrod and the late Ira Bell Thompson Harrod. He was employed as a spreader truck driver with Southern States. He was preceded in death by a half-sister: Norma Jean Linares.
He is survived by: 2 daughters: Cathy (Patrick) Shuman of Fernandina Beach, FL and Michelle (Steven) Carter of Nashville; son: Clint (Misty) Harrod of McClenny, FL; 2 brothers: Jimmy Harrod of Ray City and Pixie Harrod of Nashville; 3 grandchildren: Ford Shuman, Emory Shuman, and Haynes Carter; brother-in-law: Ronnie (Teresa) Giddens.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 24, 2017 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in New Ramah Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 PM.
