Obituary

Larry Stevens, 74, of Nashville, died Sunday February 5, 2023 at his residence.

He was born November 20, 1948 in Berrien County to the late Oscar Bradford "Tiny B" Stevens and the late Irene Spivey Stevens. He worked as a shipping clerk with Nashville Textile and retired as an assistant warehouse manager with the J.H. Harvey Company. He attended Pineview Holiness Church, Trinity Holiness Church and was saved in January of 1990. He loved his family, friends and going to church. He was preceded in death by a son: Larry Brad Stevens who died in 1999 and was also preceded in death by a brother: Charles Stevens.

He is survived by his wife: Margaret "Cill" Hurlbert Stevens of Nashville; son: Tony (Becky) Stevens of Nashville; 4 grandchildren: Alex (Haley) Stevens of Valdosta, Crystal (John) Wright of Warner Robins, Brandon (Carrie) Stevens of Adel and Samantha Stevens of Nashville; 3 great grandchildren: Cayden Stevens, Tanner Stevens and Kye Stevens; 3 sisters: Mary Helen (Jim) Edwards of Lakeland, Deborah (Carl) Delk of Hahira and Marcia (Tony) Johnson of Sylvester; brother: Jimmy (Gail) Stevens of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday February 8, 2023 at 11 AM in the Trinity Holiness Church with the Rev. Freddie Stone, Rev. Junior Morgan and Rev. John Sewell officiating. Interment will follow in the Poplar Springs cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM in the funeral home.
