Lenita Spikes Alexander, 77, of Pearson, died Monday February 5, 2024 at her residence.

She was born September 22, 1946 in Atkinson County to the late Dan Spikes and Juanita Tyson Spikes. She was a retired food service manager with the Berrien County Board of Education for over 25 years and a member of the Goodwill Assembly of God in Pearson. She spent many years as a loving caretaker, loved her family and was very strong in her faith. She was preceded in death by her husband: O.G. Alexander who died in 2002 and was also preceded in death by a brother: Gene Spikes.

She is survived by 2 sons: Wade (Emily) Alexander of Lehighton, PA and Bryan (Lisa) Alexander of Tifton; mother: Juanita Spikes of Pearson; sister: Shirley (Wayne) Fussell of Augusta; 2 brothers: Danny (Rita) Spikes of Pearson and Ronnie (Litlen) Spikes of Pearson; 6 grandchildren: Laken Alexander, Dalton Alexander, Raina Alexander, Madisyn Alexander, Caelan (Candace) Cooper and Brandon (Brianna) Cooper; 6 great grandchildren; special God daughter: Malinda Mathis of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday February 8, 2024 at 11 AM in the Nashville Memorial Gardens with Pastor Elaine Keene officiating. Visitation will be in the cemetery thirty minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
