Maggie Lenora Jefferson, 82, of Nashville, died Tuesday September 16, 2014 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
She was born October 7, 1931 in Berrien County to the late Arlie Newton Harnage and the late Maudie Howell. She was a homemaker and retired school food service employee. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ray City and the widow of James Elias "Jeff" Jefferson who died in 1998.
She is survived by a sister: Betty (Robert) Hughes of Nashville; brother: Donald (Katie) Harnage of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday September 18, 2014 at 2 PM in the First Baptist Church of Ray City with the Rev. Robbie Peay officiating. Interment will follow in the Beaver Dam Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers make contributions to Halcyon Hospice, 101 Northside Drive, Building E, Valdosta, GA 31602.
