L.C. Cook, Jr., 76, of Nashville, died Thursday May 1, 2014 at his residence.
He was born July 26, 1937 in Berrien County to the late Lester Cook and the late Hettie Rouse.
He was retired owner of Cook Timber & Logging and a United States Air Force Veteran. He attended Nashville First Church of the Nazarene. He was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Ruth Rogers Cook who died February 17, 2014 ; son, Martin Andrew Cook; granddaughter: Korteni Omori;step son: Vernon David Franklin, Jr.
He is survived by his daughter: Susie Omori of Panama City, FL; son: Marlon Cook of Los Angeles, CA; 3 step daughters: Pat O'Steen, Debra Cornelius and Kay Franklin all of Nashville; 2 step sons: Hank Franklin and Glenn Franklin both of Nashville; 4 sisters: Betty Miller of Nashville, Linda Sumner of Nashville, Letha Bailey of Nashville and Nell Walden of Adel; brother: J.B. Cook of Nashville; 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 6, 2014 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the
Rev. Ray Dean and the Rev. Charles Barton officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday one hour prior to the service.Lester C. "L.C." Cook, Jr.'s Guestbook
