Olivia "Libby" Payne Nix, 87, of Nashville, died Monday September 16, 2024, in the SGMC Berrien Campus.

She was born November 13, 1936 in Cook County to the late Ernest Ethridge Payne and the late Louise Young Payne. She worked as assistant director for the Berrien County Housing Authority and was also employed as a clerk with the Berrien County Board of Education. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, was the widow of Billy Lamar Nix who died in 2023 and also preceded in death by a brother: Walter J. Willaford.

She is survived by a daughter: Linda Nix of Nashville; 2 grandchildren: Jeremiah Jilcott and Macy Rogers; 3 great grandchildren: Wallace, Scarlett and Toby; special nephew: Bruce Willaford of Lawrenceburg, KY.

Funeral services will be held Friday September 20, 2024 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary James officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Friday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
