Lila Kay Lennard, 83, of Albany, died Thursday, February 27, 2025, in the Langdale Hospice House.

She was born August 30, 1941, in Atlanta to the late Gordon Lomax Herlong and the late Deiliah Taylor Lomax. She was a homemaker and member of Albany Methodist Church. She was an avid reader, very involved with her church and loved her family. She was the widow of John Cary Lennard who died in 2014 and was also preceded in death by a son: Phillip Herlong.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Deanna (Rev. Russ) Elkins of Adel and Jan (Doug) Simpson of Houston, TX; son: James (Pam) Lennard of Johns Creek; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Her family will honor request for cremation. A memorial service will be held Saturday March 1, 2025, at 2 PM in the Pelham City cemetery with Mr. Ronnie Morrell officiating.
