Linda Gail Gillis' Obituary
Linda Gail Gillis, 70, of Ray City died Saturday November 12, 2016 in Lanier County.
She was born August 2, 1946 in Berrien County to the late John Duncan "J.D." Mathis and the late Aretha Roland Mathis. She was retired from Adel Metal Products as a machinist, a beautician and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Carlton Mathis and Eugene Mathis.
She is survived by her daughter: Stacy Gillis of Hahira; son: Cavin Pafford of Lake Park; sister: Barbara (Billy) Warren of Nashville; 2 brothers: Lamar (Miffin) Mathis of Quincy, FL and Darrell (Shirley) Mathis of Nashville; 4 grandchildren: Hagen Pafford, Abby Gillis, Tye Pafford and Baby Blankenship.
The family will honor her request for cremation and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday November 16, 2016 at 6 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating.
