Obituary

Linda McKinnon Hall Mathews, 74, of Moultrie, died Tuesday January 30, 2024 at her residence.

She was born April 8, 1949 in Coffee County to the late Jesse Carol McKinnon and the late Mary Ree Bolton McKinnon Griffin. She was a retired 3rd grade teacher with the Berrien County Board of Education with 30 years of service. She loved playing the piano, played with "The Paffords" for over 40 years and was a member of the Eastside Holiness Baptist Church in Fitzgerald. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Harold Hall who died in 2001 and Rev. Kenneth Mathews who died in 2023; Infant son: Jonathan Blake Hall; 3 brothers: Robert McKinnon, Troy McKinnon, and Wade McKinnon; 2 sisters- in- law: Martha Jean McKinnon and Barbara Cross.

She is survived by daughter: Alicia (Mark) Land of Berlin; son: Barry (Cindy) Hall of Nashville; four grandchildren: Brandon (Mia) Hall, Mark Land, Jackson Land, and Taylor Ruis; brother: Loel McKinnon of Calhoun and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 3, 2024 at 2 PM in Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Roberts, Rev. Rob Meritt, and Rev. Edsel Young officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 7 to 9 PM in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Eastside Holiness Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, GA.
