Linda Marie Murray, 72, of Nashville, died Saturday June 17, 2017 at the SGMC Berrien Campus.
She was born February 4, 1945 in Tift County to the late Thurman Pafford and the late Mildred Mardine Danforth Pafford. She was a homemaker and a retired secretary with the Nashville United Methodist Church with 35 faithful years of service. She was preceded in death by a son: Keith Murray; granddaughter: Katelyn Alissa Morris; father-in-law: O.E. "Buck" Murray; 2 brothers-in-law: Billy Murray and Melvin Murray.
She is survived by her husband: Bobby Lamar Murray of Nashville; daughter: Lisa (Alan) Mann of Bluffton, SC; 2 sisters: Margi (Bill) Chapman of St. Mary's and Elaine (Richard) Joel of Tavares, FL; 3 grandchildren: Dawson Murray, Jenna (Dustin) Barnwell and Taylor Mann; mother-in-law: Julia Murray of Nashville; 2 sisters-in-law: Mary Alice Murray and Frances Murray both of Nashville; brother-in-law: Larry (Denise) Murray of Braselton: 2 grand dogs: Maggie and Nana.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 21, 2017 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Bennett and Rev. Benjy Varnell officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM.
