Norma Elizabeth "Liz" Nix, 74, of Nashville, died Friday December 24, 2021 at her residence.

She was born September 22, 1947 in Colquitt County to the late Randolph Parrish and the late Margaret Harrell Parrish. Along with her husband, she was the co-founder of the Magnolia House of Furniture for over 45 years. She was a member of Hope Baptist Church and was the widow of Rodney Wilson Nix who died in 2011.

She is survived by 2 sons: Rodney (Deree) Nix of Nashville and Michael (Kris) Nix of Nashville; 3 grandchildren: Callie, Sam and Conor; sister: Betty Sue Burgess of Tifton; brother: Larry Parrish of Alapaha.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 28, 2021 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard McNair officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home. Memorials are requested to the Hearts to Home (1111 Exum Rd, Nashville, GA 31639).
