Obituary

Lizzie Bell Gaskins, 76, of Ray City, died Monday October 1, 2012 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.

She was born September 22, 1936 in Lowndes County to the late Walter D. Mullis and the late Lillian Moore. She was a homemaker and member of the Ray City United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Jimmy Key Gaskins who died in 2004.

She is survived by 2 sons: Freddy (Sylvia) Gaskins of Nashville and Steve (Darlene) Gaskins of Valdosta; 6 grandchildren: Mandy (Michael) Powe, Adam (Jessica) Gaskins, Deanna (Scott) Dowd, Justin Gaskins, Rodney (Ashlie) Ray, and Kyle (Brittany) Ray; 4 great grandchildren; 4 sisters: Betty McClellan of Nashville, Reba Pruitt of Naylor, Dot Hall of Valdosta, and Jerri Roberts of Valdosta.

Funeral services will be held Thursday October 4, 2012 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Terron Stonecypher officiating. Interment will follow in the Beaver Dam Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM. Lovein Funeral
