Lola Benton, 88, died Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Berrien Oaks Nursing Center.

She was born September 21, 1937, in Eufala, AL to the late Wade Clark and the late Agnus Seaborn Clark. She was a retired financial clerk with civil service at Robins Air Force Base. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and loved her dogs and cats. She was preceded in death by her husbands Paul Benton and Collis Adams; sister: Elaine Bruninea; brother: Charles Clark.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Cindy (John) Robinson of Valdosta, Tammy Crozier (Chris Aurandt) of Valdosta and Allison Davis of Maggie Valley, NC; 5 grandchildren: Samantha (Dave) Smith of Valdosta, Clay (Whitney) Robinson of Athens, Jessica (Paul) Umbarger of Midland City, AL, Joey Crozier of Tallahassee, FL and Holly Davis of Orlando, FL; 4 great-grandchildren: Dylan, Kaitlyn, Archer and Tali; several nieces and nephews.

Her family will honor her request for cremation and no formal services will be held.
