Lorene Tyson Dorminey, 83, of Enigma died Wednesday March 25, 2015 at her residence.
She was born November 27, 1931 in Berrien County to the late Lannis Bryant Tyson and the late Ovieda Curry Tyson. She was a homemaker, retired as the Berrien County Tax Commissioner with 37 years of service, worked in the ASC office for 13 years, worked on the family farm and was of the Baptist Faith. She is the widow of Eddie Lee Dorminey and also preceded in death by a brother: Kenneth Tyson and a sister: Amerilus Parr.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Rhonda (Tommy) King of Enigma and Lori Dorminey of Enigma; 2 sons: Gary (Ann) Dorminey of Enigma and Keith Dorminey of Alpharetta; 2 sisters: Willene Barber of Sparks and Carolyn Morris of Alapaha; brother: Roy Tyson of Enigma; 7 grandchildren: Samantha King, Kayla (Blake) Warren, Cass (Courtney) Dorminey, Hanna (Camron) Moore, Curry Dorminey, Hailey Dorminey, and Cole Dorminey; 8 great grandchildren; and 2 grand fur babies.
Funeral services will be held on Friday March 27, 2015 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Pete Jones and the Rev. Becky King officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6-8 PM.
