Lorene May, 85, of Nashville, died Monday October 13, 2014 in the Berrien Campus of South GA Medical Center.

She was born September 29, 1929 to the late John McLemore and the late Thelma Tuten McLemore. She was a retired LPN and a member of the Jehovah Witness. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Joseph May and a sister: Lucille May.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Brenda (Gary) Jones of Adel, GA and Jackie (Dusty) Chance of Adel, GA; 2 sons: Donnie (Cathy) May of Valdosta, GA and Jimmy (Cindy) May of Adel, GA; a daughter-in-law Kim Conger of Sparks, GA; 9 grandchildren: Laura (Brent) Exum of Adel, GA, Melissa Jones of Adel, GA, Andy Jones of Adel, GA, Jamie (Johnny) White of Adel, GA, Kevin Chance of Adel, GA, Shane May of Sparks, GA, Laken May of Sparks, GA, David Dubose of Valdosta, GA and Jason Dubose of Douglas, GA; 14 great grandchildren 3 sisters: Vernell D'Angio, Eva Mae Masiello and Tina Folsom; several nieces and nephews.

The family will honor her request for cremation and a memorial service will be held Saturday October 18, 2014 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home.
