Louise Tomberlin, 93, of Adel, formerly of Valdosta, died Monday October 22, 2018 in the Cook Senior Living Center.

She was born April 18, 1925 in Grady County. She was a homemaker and former employee with the Valdosta Daily Times. She was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church and was the widow of Charles Henry Tomberlin who died in 1985. She was also preceded in death by 2 daughters: Bonnie Ann Harris and Ella Ree Brogdon.

She is survived by 4 grandchildren: Rhonda (James) Guidry of Las Vegas, NV, Teresa Padgett of Knoxville, TN, Stacy (Kim) Brogdon of Alapaha and Tony (Patricia) Harris of Knoxville, GA; several half sisters and half brothers: 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday October 27, 2018 at 11 AM in Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Visitation will be held in the cemetery following the service.
