Rev. Loyce J. "Buddy" Walker, age 87 of St. Marys, formerly of Nashville, died Tuesday November 21, 2023 at his residence.  He was born August 10, 1936 in Berrien County to the late Lois Walker and the late Grace Evelyn Rutherford Walker.  He was a licensed and ordained minister in the Church of God for 36 years and served as a Bishop before retiring.  His membership was with the Abundant Life Church of God in Valdosta. He was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Debra Turner and Pam DeLahunt and a son, Tim Walker.

He is survived by his wife, Bessie Kennedy Walker of St. Marys; 2 daughters, Kim (Rusty) Prescott of St. Marys and Dianne (Wilson) Pittman of Welaka, Fl; son, Mike (Tammy) Walker of Valdosta; 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday November 25, 2023 at 12 Noon in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Hughes officiating.  A private interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery.  Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials to a hospice of choosing.
