Lucy Powers McNeese Bailey, 91, of Nashville, died Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the SGMC in Valdosta.

She was born August 15, 1934, in Cook County to the late Ethridge Powers and the late Stella Weeks Powers. She was a homemaker, worked for the Talley Box Company and Nashville Mills. She was a member of the Abundant Life Chapel, was the widow of Robert McNeese and Emory Bailey and was preceded in death by a daughter: Connie McNeese; 2 sisters: Forest Lee Powers West and Louise Powers Mixon; 3 brothers: Russell Powers, Hiram Powers and Henry Powers.

She is survived by a son: Joe McNeese of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Mr. Raymond Dampier officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn City Cemetery in Adel. Visitation is Tuesday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
