Lucy Mae Phillips' Obituary
Lucy Mae Phillips, 83, of Ray City died Monday June 11, 2012 in the South Georgia Medical Center.
She was born January 25, 1929 in Opp, Alabama to the late Calvin Hardy Carnley and the late Isabell Williams. She was a homemaker and member of the Ray City First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband: James Richard Phillips of Ray City; 3 daughters: Janie Belinda Nitz of Warner Robins, Neda Gay Hon of Ray City, Sherry Lynn Peake of Knoxville, TN; 2 sons: James Richard Phillips, Jr of Navarre, FL, and Joey T. Phillips of Jacksonville, FL; 2 brothers: Hearld Carnley of Defuniak Springs, FL, and Donald Carnley of Fort Walton Beach, FL; 11 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday June 15 , 2012 at 2 PM in the Ray City First Baptist Church with the Rev. Robbie Peay officiating. Interment will follow in the Beaver Dam Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.
