Lula Mae Snowden Wilkerson, 85, of Nashville, passed away suddenly at SGMC Berrien Campus on  Tuesday April 9, 2024.

Lula was born January 3, 1939 in Charlton County Georgia and was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She was a homemaker and retired registered nurse, was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, and was of the Methodist faith. Lula had an amazing green thumb and loved working in her rose gardens.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Olin C. Wilkerson, daughters Renee(Doug)Parker of Valdosta, GA and Lisa W. Pirtle of Nashville, GA, grandchildren Blake Griffin, Adrienne(Bryan)Wade, Noah Parker, Allison Parker, Tyson Parker, Ayden Pirtle and Skyler Pirtle and great grandchildren Alexander Wade and Milo Wade. She is also survived by a sister Martha Jane McConnon of Baltimore, MD and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will honor her request for cremation and a private memorial will be scheduled at a later date.
