Lunette Clifton, 93, of Nashville, died Sunday March 5, 2017 in the SGMC Berrien Campus.
She was born April 21, 1923 in Coffee County to the late Henry Metts and the late Lucinda Daniels Metts. She was a homemaker, retired from B.C. Moore's Department Store and a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church. She was the widow of Lewis Edward Clifton, Jr and was also preceded in death by: 2 son-in-laws: Hal Wilson and Lamar King, 3 sisters: Sallie Harper, Marie Nash and Willie Metts; 3 brothers: Arthur Metts, Rudolph Metts and J.H. Metts; great granddaughter: Lillie Grace West.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Rhonda King of Alapaha and Sandy Wilson of Chapin, SC; sister: Grace Smith of Ambrose; 5 grandchildren: Kim (Wright) Phillips of Chapin, SC, Robin (Bud) Marcum of Nashville, Cheron (Kyle) Hess of Chapin, SC, Dawn (Ran) West of Nashville and Hope (Gary) Giddens of Nashville; 11 great grandchildren: Madison, Logan, Kyle Jr, Hannah, Raina, Hunter, Grady, Emma, Beau, Katie Marie and Bella.
Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday March 7, 2017 at 2 PM in Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Stanley Luke and the Rev. Keith Stewart officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
