Sylvia Lynne Stallings, 66, of Nashville died Monday September 15, 2025, at SGMC in Valdosta.

She was born July 22, 1959, in Valdosta, GA to the late Leah Wayne Stallings and the late Sylvia Ann Zeigler Stallings. She was an office aide for many years and a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School for 38 years, was very involved with children's ministries, children's choir and mission work. She loved American Indian history, music, was a former member of the BHS Rebel Regiment, played in the church orchestra and played piano.

She is survived by her brother: Lee (Jeannette) Stallings of Nashville; 2 nieces: Abigail Stallings and Isabelle Stallings; nephew: Joseph Stallings; very special cousins: Carol Yancey, Banks Yancey and Buck Stallings; many other cousins and friends.

Graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 4 PM in Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Keffer officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday in the cemetery thirty minutes prior to the service.  Memorials are requested to the Nashville First Baptist Church Children's Ministries.
