Mable Janet Barker's Obituary
Mable Janet Barker, 87, of Nashville died Sunday July 30, 2017 at her residence.
She was born October 20, 1929 in Ozark, AL to the late Talmadge B. Morris and the late Nettie Parker Morris. She was a homemaker and attended various churches in the community. She was the widow of Howard Barker who died in 1999 and was also preceded in death by a daughter: Judy Harrell who died in 2004; 2 brothers: William Morris and Don Morris.
She is survived by her daughter: Donna (Hugh) Young of Marshallville; son: Wayne (Bonnie) Barker of Nashville; 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; sister: Betty June Stephens of Valdosta; and a brother: Gene Morris of Covington.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 1, 2017 at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Hesters officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 2:30 PM until hour of service.
