Madie Alexander, 86, of West Berrien, died Wednesday December 5, 2012 in the Fellowship Home.
She was born April 28, 1926 in Lanier County to the late Jessie Harrell and the late Lennie Guthrie. She was a homemaker and member of Vickers Church. She was the widow of John Alexander who died in 2012, and was also preceded in death by her first husband: Claude Parker who died in 1975, son: Billy Claude Parker, 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
She is survived by her daughter: Betty (James) Baker of West Berrien; 2 grandchildren: Julie ( Col.Charles) Tomko of West Berrien and Col. James (Dianne) Baker of Fort Hood, TX; 4 great grandchildren: Brian Baker, Ryan Tomko, Erica Baker, and Tyler Tomko.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday December 7, 2012 at 11 AM in the Vickers Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Lawson officiating. Visitation will be Friday morning in the cemetery prior to the service.
