Marguerite "Maggie" Hogan, 72, of Moultrie died Friday March 22, 2019 at Legacy Village in Moultrie.

She was born May 18, 1946 in Douglasville, GA to the late Alan Paul Welker and the late Ruby Monroe Welker.  She was a homemaker, a retired first grade teacher in the Douglas County School System and of the Methodist Faith.

She is survived by her daughter: Leasa Hogan of Alapaha; son: John (Jodi) Hogan of Nashville; 3 grandchildren: Eliese Nicole Hogan, Eric Christopher Powell and Fischer Hogan; sister: Ann Brooks of Tallahassee, FL; and a brother: Louis Ward of Oklahoma City, OK.

The family has honored her request for cremation and memorials can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or Colquitt Regional Hospice.
